Kärcher Greece has supported the upgrade of the park and promenade known as “Nea Paralia” in Thessaloniki through a series of measures implemented by the Cultural Community of Northern Greece in collaboration with the Thessaloniki city council. In the first of four phases of the project, Kärcher Greece helped to remove pollution along the promenade, with a focus on removing graffiti.

The cleaning work began in the area of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall and extended along the entire length of the promenade to the White Tower, in order to clean the most heavily polluted areas of the waterfront. A high-pressure trailer and surface cleaner were used, among other things. At the same time, Kärcher trained municipal services personnel to ensure that the cleaning work would continue in the future.

The sports facilities on the lakeside promenade were also cleaned.
