A Step Towards Monument Cleaning

In association with our esteem partners INTACH & Archaeological Survey Of India, we have conducted three days Indo – German workshop on stone cleaning from 10th Feb – 12th Feb 2016 at INTACH Chitrakala Parishat Art Conservation Centre situated at Bangalore.

Event was inaugurated by Mr. M. Nambirajan (Director Monuments – ASI) along with our managing director Mr. Ruediger Schroeder.

During the workshop we had covered various topics on stones and their restorative cleaning methods like Basics of major European cleaning technologies for historic monuments, how to sustain the surfaces of stones, plasters, modern analytics in Germany for analysing contamination of stones etc.

With the support of our German experts Mr. Frank Schad & Mr. Nick Heyden, we hosted a live demonstration at 7th century’s Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple situated at Nandi village where we showcased few of our stone cleaning solutions.

The event was a great success and we as Karcher Cleaning Systems Private Limited will continue to support all these initiative to make our world more cleaner & safer.
