Machine rental is subject to our below standard conditions of hire:

 Whilst under hire, full responsibility for Kärcher SA equipment is that of the company and / or person hiring the equipment.

Delivery of a unit, whether by Karcher or the customer, is deemed part of the hire.

 

1. The Customer will pay to Kärcher the Recommended Retail Price less 25% discount for any Rental Goods which are lost, stolen, damaged beyond economic repair and/or any other loss during the Rental Period less the amount paid to the Kärcher under any policy of insurance taken out in accordance with these conditions.

 2. Risk in the Rental Goods and any Products will pass immediately to the Customer when they leave the physical possession or control of the Kärcher. Risk in the Rental Goods will not pass back to the Kärcher from the Customer until the Rental Goods are in the physical possession of Kärcher, checked and inspected for damage. This shall apply even if the Kärcher has agreed to cease charging the Rental.

 3. Kärcher SA is not liable for damage or consequential damage of hire units not fulfilling the function required of them, whether by inadequacy or breakdown. Delivery and / or collection charges, and any operating hours must be paid irrespective of inadequacy or breakdown.

 4. Ride-on machines must be towed or transported by vehicles of adequate size which must be driven by persons correctly licensed to do so.

 5. Rental will be charged for on a daily/weekly/monthly basis with invoices issued accordingly for the charges for the period in question. (Only for 30day account holders – NO CASH RENTALS)

 6. During the hire period our equipment may only be used for the purpose intended and may not be cross-hired or offered to anyone other than the hire contract recipient unless agreed in writing with Kärcher.

 7. If a machine has an onsite breakdown Kärcher will repair the machine within 48 hours or a similar replacement machine will be provided if the repair is not possible within the 48 hours.

 7.1 Ride on Machines will be assessed on site, all other machines will need to be brought in to their nearest repair centre.

 8. The Customer shall not remove any labels from and/or interfere with the Rental Goods, their working mechanisms or any other parts of them and take reasonable care of the Rental Goods and only use them for their proper purpose in a safe and correct manner in accordance with any operating and/or safety instructions provided or supplied to the Customer. Notify Kärcher immediately after any breakdown, loss and/or damage to the Rental Goods. Take adequate and proper measures to protect the Rental Goods from theft, damage and/or other risks.
