Cancellation policy

Consumers have the right to withdraw in accordance with the stipulations set out below. A consumer is any natural person who makes a legal transaction for purposes which by and large cannot be attributed to his or her commercial or independent professional activities.

Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving reasons. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us (Kärcher (Pty) Ltd., Tel: 011 657 7300, Fax: 011 657 7440, email: info@karcher.com) of your decision to cancel this agreement with an explicit declaration (e.g. by letter, sent by post, by fax or by email). You can use the model cancellation form for this, though it is not compulsory.

The cancellation period is deemed to have been complied with provided that you send us notification that you are exercising your right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of the cancellation

If you cancel this agreement, we are obliged to refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs incurred by your choice of a different type of delivery from the cheaper standard delivery offered by us) immediately and at the latest within 14 days from the day we received notification of your cancellation of this agreement. We use the same payment method for the refund as you used for the original transaction, unless a different arrangement has been made with you expressly; under no circumstances will you be charged for this refund.

We can refuse a refund until we have received the goods back from you or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, depending which happens first.

You must send or consign the goods immediately, and at the latest within 14 days from the day you informed us that you were cancelling this agreement, to us at

The cancellation period is deemed to have been complied with provided that you send us the goods before the 14-day cancellation period has expired.

We bear the costs of returning the goods.

You will only have to compensate for loss of value of the goods if, upon inspection of the condition, features and functionality of the goods, this value loss is attributable to your unnecessary handling of them.
